GDrive

So Google is on its way for another BIG idea.. I couldn’t resist but write on it.
I missed Google launch, was late to get Gmail. I know this one will create a history, and want to be few one who wrote the first blog on it. So let me say as a user what does it mean to me. Hoping that its an unlimited storage option, i can get rid of my 160 Gig HDD, which replaced my CDs and DVDs, though i still need to carry it. But not anymore, here comes the "GDrive", all my stuff gets loaded to it. Atleast one less thing i would run to grab on early hours of Thanksgiving. One less thing i'll have to remember to carry on my trip abroad.
And remember that “very important information”, i generally keep a hardcopy of that, just in case my external hard drive crashes, with Google I think I can trust them to maintain my storage backups (just in case). And what all can i store, well, important documents, sample codes, resume, musik, movie clips, pics, favorites and a lot more.
And now comes the million $ question, can i trust them with my confidential information. I mean confidential in any respect, It could be someone's financial information or the tokens of wild side. What if system crashes or worse Google surrenders to Government and let them scan the information. I guess it depends on individuals, while am eagerly waiting for this one to come up and get over with the burden of carrying big drives, i would still be cautious on what i upload and to start with, would definitely keep a backup.
